Sally’s house is a gem. The location is amazing if you’re looking for isolation and natural beauty. The creek in front of the house is swimmable, and the canoe allows for exploration to the rapids up- and down-stream. Aside from the very quiet caretaker (who keeps the house in incredible shape), there is no-one else for miles. Every detail in the house is throughtfully put together and stylish, and immaculately cared for. Platypus viewing and birding are incredible from the huge deck. Alternately, walking the wide paths through the bush yields peace, quiet, and a swimming hole that must be glorious in summer. The surrounding areas are a treasure trove of forests, waterfalls, bucolic landscapes, hot springs, and outstanding bush. We’ll be back here for family holidays over and over again.
